From Narita/From Haneda
From Narita Airport
By bus：Utsunomiya station is served by the Maronie-go bus. The trip takes approximately 3 hours.
By train：From Narita Airport, take any Keisei train bound for keisei-Ueno Station. From Keisei-Ueno station, it is approximately a 5 minute walk to JR ueno Station. From JR Ueno Station, take any Utsunomiya Line train bound for Utsunomiya or Kuroiso, or any Tohoku Shinkansen train which stops at Utsunomiya. The entire trip takes approximately 3 hours by local train, 2 hours if using the Shinkansen.
Utsunomiya may also be reached via the JR Narita Express, transfering at Tokyo to a Tohoku Shinkansen train.
From Haneda Airport
By bus：Utsunomiya Station is served by direct limousine bus service from Haneda Airport. The trip takes approximately 3 hours.
By train：From Haneda Airport, take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsu-Chou Station and transfer to either the Keihin-Tohoku Line or Yamanote Line. Take either line to Ueno Station. From JR Ueno Station, take any Utsunomiya Line train bound for Utsunomiya or Kuroiso, or any Tohoku Shinkansen train which stops at Utsunomiya. The entire trip takes approximately 3 hours by local train, 2 hours if using the Shinkansen.
From Tokyo
JR Utsunomiya Station can be reached by both Shinkansen and Local Train.
By Shinkansen：from Tokyo, Ueno, or omiya Station, Utsunomiya station is served by most Tohoku Shinkansen trains. From Tokyo, the trip takes appproximately 1 hour.
By local train：Utsunomiya Station is served by both the Utsunomiya Line and the Shonan-Shinjuku Line.
From Ueno Station：Take anny utsunomiya Line train bound for Utsunomiya or Kuroiso. The trip frpm Ueno takes approximately one and a half dours.
Please note：Trains bound for Koganei terminate before arriving at Utsunomiya and require a transfer.
From Ofuna, Yokomhama, Shibuya, Shinjuku, or Ikebukuro Station：Take any Shonan-Shinjuku Line train bound for Utsunomiya or Kuroiso. The trip from Shinjuku takes approximately one and a half hours.
Please note：Shonan-Shinjuku Line train bound for Maebashi and Takasaki do not serve Utsunomiya. Shonan-Shinjuku Line train bound for Koganei terminate before reaching Utsuunomita and require a transfer.
